The thoroughbred industry is in collision with the coal industry over land use, prompting the NSW government to legislate a long term strategy. The end result appears to be balanced but is actually a big win for the powerful mining companies.
The NSW government makes major cuts to TAFE art courses, effectively ending many art schools by making them unaffordable. Premier Barry O’Farrell justifies this by claiming artists have no prospects of finding work. I used myself as a case for the defence. Many people however don’t think I’ve got a real job.
Flawed legislation has encouraged power companies to build facilities that aren’t needed, resulting in infrastructure not even connected to the network. While the companies make handsome profits the ratepayers see their power bills doubled.

One of many doodles created with pen on paper during meetings or while on the phone. They aren’t planned nor do I sketch them out in pencil beforehand. The results are straight from the spontaneous part of my subconscious. Some people think I’m not paying attention in the meetings but the opposite is true. These random creations stop my mind from wandering and help me focus on what’s being said.
